A Handbook On Training the Trainers
$6
Training is indispensible in every profession and in every field of human endeavor. Effective trainers help learners accomplish more in less time, energy and resources. They are the key to training success.
While the debate about whether champions such as sports stars, billionaire entrepreneurs, and self-made business moguls, are born or made, many training experts strongly recommend that training should be seen as a process by which genetic potentials or innate talents are refined and unleashed. In addition, training is how we transfer knowledge, expertise, and technical skills from one person to another and from one generation to another. It is also how to ensure smooth successions in organizations.
By training the trainers, we affirm the self-evident truth that we cannot give what we don’t have. In other words, trainers are limited by their levels of knowledge, understanding of subject matters, and training abilities. According to the National Financial Educators Council (NFEC), “Numerous studies have shown that students of highly-effective educators accomplish more positive outcomes than those taught by less-qualified instructors.” It is evident that better qualified trainers consistently produce better-qualified trainees or graduates across a wide range of professions and industry sectors.
In light of the above facts, training the trainers is vitally important. It doesn’t matter whether you are preparing to be a professional trainer, or you are someone like me who does a bit of training as part of your position contract, you’ll want to ensure that you are effective and productive. This handbook is designed as a general guide for various types of training courses. It contains and highlights tools you need to help create and magnetize your audience whether the event is a workshop, an in-house training, or a master class for a group of professional trainers.
