Embrace a life of success

“If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life that he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.”

–Henry David Thoreau, American Philosopher (1817 to 1862)

“Some men see things as they are and say why, I dream things that never were and say, why not.”

–George Bernard Shaw

WHAT IS SUCCESS?

Success is a coat of many colors.  Everyone has their own definition of success, and everyone seems right in their own eyes.  In his proverbs, King Solomon, regarded as the wisest man who ever lived, said, “There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end, it is a way of death.”   It therefore pays to ensure that your understanding of success is not at cross purposes with the laws that govern the universal.  According to Earl Nightingale, success is the progressive realization of a worthy ideal, or a worthy goal. You are a success if your pursuit, regardless of what it is – your career, business, etc, is what you have deliberately decided to do, and your means of doing it is worthy.

You’ve embraced a life of success when you’ve become a force for good and transformation in life and in business.  You’re living a life success when you are deliberately expressing and extending the energies of your personality to promote trust in our shared humanity and prosperity.

THE SUUCCESS PRINCIPLES

Success is not by chance. It has never been.  Success does not come on a whim, or by the wheel of fortune.   The Success Principles, a bestseller by Jack Canfield, known as America’s number one Success Teacher, is a book we highly recommend.  We use the book and its accompanying learning system as one of our most invaluable resources, and we constantly participate in Jack’s programs.

The Success Principles is a set of practical, commonsense rules anyone can use to create a life of service, success and significance.  It does not matter how far off anyone appears to have gone from their set goals, a commitment to these principles can spurn a transformational change.  According to Brian Tracy,

“Life is a combination lock; your job is to find the numbers, in the right order, so you can have anything you want.”

Principles are rules of action which work if you work them. As we conclude, below are some the principles we cherish and live by:

  • Order is the first law in heaven and the organizing principle of life on earth. Therefore begin every activity with the end in mind. Make the main thing the main thing.
  • Clarity is the first principle of power. Get clear about your concept of life- your beliefs- because your life script and the metaphor you live by determine the course of your life.
  • Take 100% responsibility for your life. You’re the master of your fate and the captain of your soul. Recognize that the 3rd law of motion always applies.  It is the grand law of the universe – cause and effect are always equal and opposite.
  • Your intention is always at cause and with the law, not your platitudes. Your intention determines where your attention goes to, and the direction your energy and resources follow.
  • Form follows function, and validates the purpose of every species of life.
  • Life grows by sharing. As a consequent, until one dies to oneself, one abides by oneself and profits nothing.
  • The law of compensations states that your reward in life and business is determined by three major factors 1)The need for what you do, 2) Your ability to do it, and 3) The difficulty there is in replacing you.

SUCCCESS IN YOUR DNA.

Your life is a franchise. You are meant to work the system God has put in place to accomplish his franchise purpose and plan to the glory of his name, not yours. You are on His service on earth.

You are programmed from conception to succeed.  It’s just a matter of your awareness and understanding of the relation of things and how life works. The basic success mechanisms are built into your system, and your personality- the way you think, the way you feel and the way you act. It is for this reason the book of proverbs advises that in all your getting get wisdom. Get understanding.

Wisdom is, knowing and acknowledging God in all your ways because He is your creator and you are on His Service.  Above all, wisdom is, knowing and understanding God’s purpose for your life – your primary assignment and mission. You have a clue. It is said that eternity is written in the heart of every human being. That includes your mission and message.

As must as we know from the scriptures, and we can see from nature, God’s revealed master plan is, “greater good in everything for everyone.”  Therefore, your success is measured by the degree of your alignment with this divine agenda.
